This page provides a site for GeoScience Students and others seeking part-time employment to advertise their availability for employment in the Oil and Gas Industry. Note that the vast majority of these opportunities will be in Calgary. Specific needs will also be advertised on this page.
Prospective employers can either contact individuals directly or take advantage of Geo-Help's services.
Students have two ways to post ads:
1. For a $20 fee (including Gst), a student can post a four line ad on this page complete with phone number and/or email address. These ads will run for a maximum of 6 months.
2. Alternatively, Students can advertise their availability at no cost by sending a copy of their resume and a draft of their ad to Geo-Help. Geo-Help will post a generic ad on this page so that any contact by a prospective employer will be through Geo-Help.
In either case, students should indicate a minimum of : 1) Level of education, 2) Any previous Oil Industry experience, 3) The type of position they are seeking, and 4) their availability (Summer, Part-time during school year etc).

Wanted - Individuals with experience using any of the various Geological Mapping packages (GeoScout, Accumap, Geographix, Landmark etc) for part-time project work.
