Annual Charges for access to Geo-Help's Web Site (www.geohelp.net)
Geo-Help's web site is intended to provide convenient, one-stop access to much of the information required by Geologists active in the Oil and Gas Industry in Canada. The web site is designed and maintained by Geologists active in Canada and has been kept as simple and user friendly as possible to enable access with the most basic equipment from the home, office or remote location.
Geo-Help On-Line Services - Annual Fees (12 months elapsed time) excluding Gst
(For Access to the Password protected area of the Site)
Individual Membership - includes a 4-line ad - $100
Add $50 to get a direct link to your own web site
Small Companies (Less than 5 Geo-scientists).
Single Person access - includes a 4 line ad - $250
$50 per additional access.
Add $50 to get a direct link to your own Company web site
Larger Companies (Greater than 5 Geo-scientists)
Basic Annual Fee, No advertising - $600
Access: $15 per year per Geoscientist.
All fees and services can be adapted to meet specific Corporate or individual services.
A single password is provided to a Company. The password is available for use by Employees wherever they have internet access. Geo-Help relies on an "Honour system" that Companies will limit distribution of the password to those entitled to use it. The head count for multiple access is on an approximate basis (plus or minus 10%) so there is no need for further billing during the year UNLESS a major acquisition or hiring program causes a significant increase in users. The password will only be changed when required for security reasons.
Geo-Help will continue to add and expand services on the password-protected area of the site. The public part of the site will carry more generic items, advertising and simplified examples of the material on the protected website. Ideas for expanding this service or feedback with respect to improvements or problems with the existing site are welcome.
